The Brazilian Grand Prix qualifying results look about like everyone expected them to, with Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel topping the charts. But no one would know by just looking at the top-three (or two-ish?) photo after qualifying, because Hamilton skipped out on it.

Rosberg edged his Mercedes teammate out of pole position by just a tenth of a second in the session, with Vettel over half a second behind. Here’s how SkySports F1 phrased the post-qualifying situation at the Mercedes camp:
Quote:
Having missed the post-session top three photograph, Hamilton was keen to downplay Rosberg’s pole, even suggesting 2015 no longer mattered.

“I’ve won most poles this year and the world championship, so there’s nothing really to read into it,” the triple champion said.
